1.Chinese New Year Festival, Chun Jie
The Chinese New Year Festival is a festival that is usually celebrated in spring. This celebration can indeed be found in almost all Chinatown locations in the world. It's just that, the nuances of the Chinese cultural festival in their place of origin are really different from what we usually find in Indonesia.
This festival requires residents to hang various knick-knacks of red lanterns, stick red FU paper typical of the Chinese New Year, and prepare red packets. Special, here are often held fireworks parties followed by the legendary lion dance dragon dance.


2. "Jakarta Cap Go Meh Festival", Yuan Xiao Jie
The Cap Go Meh Festival, also known as the Yuan Xiao Festival in its place of origin. Usually, this celebration is held every 15th of the first month of the Chinese calendar.

4. Duan Wu Festival, Duan Wu Jie
This festival is celebrated in memory of a patriot named Qu Yuan, who committed suicide after jumping into a river. At that time, Qu Yuan wanted to prove the love and loyalty he had for the Chu dynasty. This makes many people feel amazed and makes them hold a festival every 5th of the 5th month on the lunar calendar.

5. Qi Xi Festival, Qi Xi Jie
The Qi Xi Festival (Qi Qiao) is a romantic festival or day of love in Chinese cultural traditions.
Usually, the Qi Xi Festival falls on the 7th day of the 7th month according to the Chinese calendar.
Interestingly, on the eve of this festival, young girls will pray for a husband who is faithful and loves him.

6.Tiong Ciu Festival, Zhong Yuan Jie
This autumn festival is a festival held to celebrate the harvest. It is celebrated every 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, and is held by the community in groups.
One custom that is never lost in the celebration of this one festival. Namely, gathering with family to enjoy mooncakes, while drinking tea or traditional wine.

7. Chong Yang Festival, Chong Yang Jie
The festival for the elderly is often associated so that the elderly will always live a long and healthy life.

8. Round Festival, Dong Zhi Jie
This festival is also known as Dong Zhi Jie. And usually, people will make a dish of onde cake and eat the cake together with the family.
